Set the Stars
A calm tangram puzzle: slide paper pieces into the shape of a constellation, and when the last one fits, its real stars light up.
In your browser now, iPhone and Android soon. Free to play.
Who it is for
For anyone who likes a puzzle without pressure, from kids to grandparents. There are no timers and no lives, the text and pieces are large, and nothing asks for an account. Today’s puzzle is the same for everyone.
How it works

1
Drag a piece from the tray onto the chart. A gold line shows where it will land, and it drops only where it fits; let go anywhere else and it goes back.

2
Tap a piece in the tray and it turns a quarter of the way round, the way a real tangram piece turns in your hand. The first launch teaches it with a house of four pieces.

3
When the last piece is in, the constellation’s real stars light up with their names, and a card tells its story. Six moves for six pieces is a Perfect solve.

4
One puzzle a day, the same for everyone, to share in a few plain lines. Constellations open a group at a time, and Asteroids are a new shape every game.

How it is built
Flutter, for iOS, Android and the browser from one codebase. Every puzzle is geometry on a grid of quarter-squares: the constellations are cut ahead of time, and today’s puzzle is cut from the date, so it comes out the same on every phone and in the browser.
