FoldNets
A browser tool for K-8 geometry that recreates a beloved DOS-era classroom program. Pick or sculpt a 3D shape, watch its 2D net unfold live — glue tabs, fold lines and edge match numbers included — then export a print-ready PDF.
Free, no accounts, and everything runs in the browser.

What It Does
Core Features
Live Unfolding
Set a shape's dimensions and watch its net redraw in real time, with glue tabs, fold lines and face labels.
Free-Form Sculpting
Start from a box, wedge, pyramid, octahedron, gem or icosahedron and drag its corners in 3D. Every deformation stays paper-buildable.
Compound Builds
Ten presets from a quick House or Rocket up to a 14-part Castle — or position your own parts in 3D, each with its own net.
Edge Match Numbers
Both halves of every cut edge get the same number, so students know exactly which edges glue together.
Stamps & Colour
Stamp doors, windows and portholes onto any face and paint from a printer-friendly palette. They print with the net and show on the 3D preview.
Class-Set Printing
Paste a list of student names and export one full set of nets per student, each with the name printed in the footer.
Area & Volume
Live surface area and volume for the active shape in cm or inches — a direct tie-in to the measurement curriculum.
Save & Share
Designs save to the browser with no account, and a share link encodes the entire design in the URL.
