ClassTrack Terms of Use

The App
ClassTrack is a behaviour tracking tool for teachers, developed by Joshua Makes ("the Service Provider"). It is provided "AS IS", without warranty of any kind. You are responsible for how student information is recorded and shared, and for following your school or board policy when you do.
Free and Plus
ClassTrack is free to use, with no advertising. ClassTrack Plus is an optional subscription that unlocks behaviour heatmaps, charts in your exported PDF reports, your school's logo on those reports, and customising your behaviour list.
Creating classes, logging behaviour, exporting a report, and backing up and restoring your data are free and always will be.
Subscription Terms
ClassTrack Plus is offered monthly or annually. Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
A subscription renews automatically at the same price unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the period ending.
Where a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited if you buy a subscription before the trial ends.
Managing and Cancelling
You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings — not from inside ClassTrack, because neither store allows an app to cancel on your behalf.
Cancelling stops the next renewal; the subscription stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
When a Subscription Ends
If a subscription lapses, ClassTrack returns to the free version. Your classes, students, behaviour logs and notes remain on your device, untouched and fully accessible, and you can still export and back them up.
The Service Provider will not delete, lock, or withhold your data because a subscription ended.
Refunds
Purchases are processed by Apple and Google, and refunds are handled under their policies rather than by the Service Provider. Refund requests go through the App Store or Google Play.
School and Board Licences
Schools and school boards may licence ClassTrack for their staff directly from the Service Provider rather than through the app stores. Those licences are governed by the written agreement signed with the school or board, which sets the seat count and the term.
A licence unlocks Plus on a teacher's device and grants the school no access to any classroom data.
Your Data
ClassTrack stores everything you enter on your own device and transmits none of it. How that data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Changes
These terms may be revised as the app changes. Revisions are noted in the app update notes and reflected here.
